At the Resurrection of the Lord parish, the most faithful pray the Rosary as a group every first Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. We also pray the Rosary every weekday morning at 6:00 a.m. before morning Mass, led by Mr. Bob Mace. The coordinator Mrs. Mary Takahashi says "the Rosary prayer group offers a wonderful opportunity for those who have never prayed the Rosary before to learn how. Parents are encouraged to bring their children and expose them to such a beautiful experience at a young age. We also pray the Devine Mercy Chaplet." In the modern society, our future sometimes seems clouded by depressions, crimes, wars, illnesses, broken families, and abortions, to name a few. The power of the Rosary can transform our spiritual life and bring us back into the fullness of the Catholic Church. The month of October each year is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary. Let us consider this beautiful prayer of the Rosary as a means to draw us closer to Jesus and Mary by meditation on the great mysteries of our salvation.
