The Youth Choir celebrates on the second and last Saturday of each month during the 5:15 P.M. ServiceThe major goal of the ROL Youth Choir is to provide an opportunity for musical expression
and personal development in a supportive and prayerful environment. Our intent is to engage
the youth of the parish and let them know what Pope John Paul II said." Our youth are not the future of the Church tomorrow, but they are indeed the young Church of today."
The Resurrection of the Lord Youth Choir is a parish based music ministry program that provides an opportunity for
the youth to share their gifts and talents to engage in meaningful worship. The Youth Choir is not exclusive to
school-aged children, we also welcome adults who would like to serve God's people through music.
Our motto is based in Fr. Richard Rohr's statement:
"When you know Jesus, you are always young and in love."The music selections incorporate a wide variety of worship styles from both within and outside the Catholic Church, however it is always Christ centered.
The Youth Choir assists on Saturday liturgies twice per month. Music has long been a cherished component of our liturgical tradition, and we welcome vocal and instrumental musicians to share in this dynamic service to others! The ROL Youth Choir practices every Wednesday in the main worship area of the church at 6:30 PM to 8:00PM
