Our Mission Statement
To assist our parish priest, in welcoming the families and friends of our
deceased brothers and sisters, before, during, and after, the funeral ceremony

"Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free,
I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard His call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I've found that peace at the end of the day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah, yes, these things too I will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savoured much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now,
He set me free."

Coping With Your Loss During The Holidays

Annual Bereavement Workshop

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 14th, 2010 2pm -5pm

Holidays represent time spent with our loved ones. They also exemplify
feelings of loneliness and despair especially when we no longer have our loved ones with us this year.

We would like to invite all those who have suffered the loss of a loved one, and bring to them hope and healing through the help of our Lord and our community.

Together, we will share the warmth of the Aloha spirit, that special feeling of goodness within us, that motivates and inspires us to give the best of ourselves to others who need support, prayers and helpful coping strategies to get through the holidays.

See you there,
